The Philadelphia Writers’ Conference Community Service Award will be awarded to a writer in recognition of his or her outstanding and significant volunteer service and dedication to the writing community.
The award is not offered every year. Nominations are solicited from PWC conferees, prior workshop leaders, and PWC board members.
Winners are determined by a committee of judges are a committee comprised of the Community Service Chairperson, the current president, and other board members. Community Service committee members may not submit nominees for consideration.

Nominations for the Community Service Award open the day after each year’s conference, and close on December 31st.
