The Philadelphia Writers’ Conference is pleased to announce that novelist Shirley Hailstock will be leading a three-day workshop at the 2019 conference.
Shirley is the author of both contemporary and historical novels. Her books have won numerous awards and appeared on the Library Journal Best Seller List, the 100 Greatest Novels of the 20th Century List, and the Glamour Magazine list. She is the recipient of the Emma Merritt Award from Romance Writers of American, and the Waldenbooks Bestselling Romance Award. Shirley is also the winner of the Career Achievement Award from Romantic Times Magazine. She is a past-president of Romance Writers of America, the largest genre writing organization in the world. An avid tennis player, Shirley lives in Central New Jersey where she writes full-time. She has been an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at Rutgers University and taught novel writing at Middlesex County College.
The 2019 Philadelphia Writers’ Conference will be held on June 7 – 9, 2019 at the Wyndham Hotel at 4th and Arch Street in Old City Philadelphia.
