The Philadelphia Writers’ Conference announces its annual Spring Will Spring contest!

Spring will soon be here, and with it renewal and inspiration.  Let your imagination bloom and provide us with your best piece on what Spring means to you!  It could be poetry or prose, creative non-fiction or memoir, or a flash fiction piece, just make your words sing like the season.

The rules are simple.

  1. Your prose can be no more than 500 words; poetry should be limited to 40 lines
  2. You can enter only one piece
  3. Your name CANNOT appear anywhere on the piece itself.

The prize is 50% off the cost of the standard 2018 PWC tuition, excluding Master Classes and dinner events.  Also, you’ll get the only featured slot in the conference open mic reading!

Enter at Deadline is March 15, 2018.

The 70th Annual Philadelphia Writers’ Conference will be held June 8-10, 2018, at the Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District. Visit this page for more information, including speaker information and a general schedule of events.
