The 16th Annual Collingswood Book Festival will be hitting Haddon Avenue on Saturday, October 6th from 10 AM – 4 PM and the Philadelphia Writers’ Conference will play a part for the second year in a row.

The festival has been a cherished part of the South Jersey literary scene since 2003, and features authors, poets, booksellers, and performers from across the region.  This year’s featured authors include Philly icon Ray Didinger, Philadelphia Liar and frequent PWC workshop leader Jon McGoran, young adult author Megan Atwood, and “No One is Coming to Save Us” author Stephanie Powell Watts, among many others. The festival includes author readings, Poetic Duets, and arts and crafts for the younger generation.  There are also contests, including a youth poetry completion for kids age 7 – 13, and neologism contest sponsored by The Retrospect.

Stop by table 35 between 10 and 4 on October 6th to talk about the 2019 Philadelphia Writers’ conference, upcoming free forums, and to sign in for a chance to win a 50% discount off the 2019 conference.
